Busby's Bees
Our beescollect the glorious nectar and pollen from woodland, orchards, meadows, and gardens from early Spring to Autumn in and around Abingdon, Faringdon and Wantage. Our bee colonies live and work in peaceful apiary locations, which are all in semi- rural settings, in fruit orchards or on working allotments, where they will help pollinate the gardens and improve the gardeners & farmers yields. All the locations are surrounded by both natural wildflower meadows, fruit trees, farms, and domestic gardens from which they forage nectar and pollen.
As well as selling honey and other products from his hives, Dave will be in the
Talks and Tasting Tent to give us a talk about beekeeping.

The Abingdon Honey Company
We are artisan beekeepers based in Abingdon on Thames, producing Honey and Products from the hive. Our bees spend the warm days foraging for pollen and nectar from wild flowers, field crops and hedgerows in and around Abingdon, Drayton, and Culham. They produce smooth floral honey with a fresh spring blossom taste, or a rich and aromatic clear summer honey. Duri9ng late summer we have limited supplies of hand-cut comb honey.
Handmade in Abingdon in small batches, we blend our own honey and beeswax together with organic skin-loving oils, butters and pure essential oils to create simple but effective skin care. We also supply hand poured, hand rolled and hand dipped beeswax candles. Beeswax qualities and characteristics have been known for centuries; beeswax candles are slow burning with a distinctive yet very subtle natural honey scent and, unlike their paraffin counterparts, do not emit black smoke.
There’s a little bit of Oxfordshire in every recipe.

Bless You Home Kitchen
"After a rough beginning as a new mum I missed having someone who could bake me something homey, nice and comforting. For me, home baking is not just a treat, but also brings me a sense of connection and nostalgia; store-bought sweets cannot be compared. From that experience I took my inspiration to set up my mini-bakery, trying to stay homey, seasonal and local as much as I can."
